Terms and Conditions

I, the undersigned, warrant and certify that I am the owner or person responsible for the dog(s) brought to Poochkins, SK-55, Sector 112, Noida 201301 for the purpose of either boarding or daycare and I agree to the following terms and conditions:
Information of Pets & Pet Owners
All dogs must have a complete and up to date On-Boarding Form and Vaccination History. Poochkins reserves the right to refuse boarding if any of these forms & documents are not filled and signed by you, or if information provided is incorrect or incomplete. Your valid ID and address proof and/or of person(s) authorized by you also need to be submitted during reservation and check-in.
Drop-off & Pick-up
Drop-off and pick-up are available any time between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Changes in time during festivals and holidays shall be informed at the time of reservation.
Delays in Drop-off & Pick-up
  • Advance Notification: In the event of a delay in drop-off or pick-up, advance notification must be given; Poochkins reserves the right to refuse any extension.
  • Hourly Rate: An hourly rate shall be applicable for late pick-ups beyond one hour of the scheduled pick-up time.
  • Boarding After 9 PM: Dogs not picked up after 9 pm will be boarded for another night at their current overnight boarding rate, and in case of day care reservations, overnight boarding charges shall apply in addition to the hourly late fee.
  • Late Check-ins: In the event of late check-ins, the duration of stay shall be counted from the scheduled check-in time given in the reservation.
Reservations
Reservations are required to be made in advance, with a 100% deposit to complete the reservation, along with the required documents [refer “Application & Waiver”].
Sharing of Housing Unit
  • Risk: Facility of sharing of a housing unit by two or more of your own pets is available. Any pet owner wishing their pets to share a housing unit with other pets do so at their own risk and must sign stating this.
  • Separation: Should we feel it necessary to separate the pets, we will do so for the pet’s best interest, and an additional fee will be applied.
Memberships & Discounts
You understand that the policies and procedures contained in this document shall be applicable to memberships and discounts that may be offered from time to time at the sole discretion of Poochkins.
Payments
  • Methods: Payments can be made via UPI, credit card, bank transfer, or in cash.
  • Full Payment: All payments must be made in full prior to the service being rendered.
  • Short Overruns: Short overruns can be paid at the time of collection.
  • Long Extensions: Long extensions to boarding must be paid for in advance at the time of request.
  • Retaining Pets: Poochkins reserves the right to retain any pet and charge for extra stay until full and final payment is received.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation Notice:
Boarding reservations may be cancelled at any time.
Refund Policy
  • 14+ Days: Fully refundable if you cancel your reservation 14 or more days in advance of the start of your scheduled stay.
  • 7 Days: 50% refundable if the cancellation is 7 days in advance.
  • 3 Days: 25% refundable if cancellation is up to 3 days in advance.
Re-booking
Re-booking of the reservation shall be at Poochkins’ discretion, and based upon availability, and new or additional rates might apply.
Early Departure
There are no refunds for early departure.
Discretion
Cancellations & refunds are at the sole discretion of Poochkins.
Local Emergency Contact
You need to provide us with a minimum of 1 local emergency contact for the duration of your dog’s stay. The emergency contact needs to be able to provide your dog with emergency accommodation should a situation arise where we are no longer able to keep them with us (e.g., if your dog does not settle and becomes increasingly stressed, becomes ill, or becomes aggressive and dangerous). Should we have to pass your dog on to your emergency contact, the full price for the duration booked will still apply and no refund will be given.
Additional Persons Authorized to Drop-off & Pick-up
If you want anyone other than you to pick up your dog, you must specify that person on the On-Boarding form. To ensure the safety of your dog, this person is required to present a valid ID at the time of drop-off or pick-up. Visitors are NOT ALLOWED during the entire stay of the pet without our prior consent.
Leash
All dogs must be on leash when arriving or leaving the property. It is your responsibility to make sure all collars, leashes, and harnesses are in sound condition and are fitted correctly.
Health
  • Representation: You certify that the representation of your dog’s health is accurate on the On-Boarding form.
  • Updates: You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to keep Poochkins up to date on any changes in your dog’s health and physical condition.
  • Fleas and Ticks: You also certify that your dog is free of fleas and ticks, and from any condition(s) that could potentially affect the health of other dogs.
  • Communicable Diseases: Dogs who have been ill with any communicable disease in the last 30 days require a veterinarian’s release to be admitted to Poochkins.
  • Liability: Poochkins does not insure for and will not be held liable for your dog’s illness or any other medical condition whilst in their care.
Food During Boarding
Basic meals for the pets are included in their stay. The number of meals are according to the duration of the stay. However, you may provide us with the food your dog is used to eating. Whenever possible, please bring the food in separate sealed containers per meal/serving and mark the containers with the name of the pet and time of meal. Please also provide complete feeding instructions in the On-Boarding form. No refund or discount will be given if you bring your own food.
Medication
  • Oral Medication: We are happy to give oral medication only as needed without any additional charge.
  • Details Required: We require that you provide complete details for all medications that need to be administered in the On-Boarding form. Please bring all medications in their original container with your dog's name on it.
  • Administration Instructions: On the On-Boarding form, please tell us the name and strength of the medication, and directions for administering the medication, including dosage, number of times per day, how and when it is to be given, condition being treated, and areas to be treated.
  • Injections: We won’t be able to give injections.
Medical Attention
You will be contacted before Poochkins seeks medical attention if your dog becomes ill or is deemed to need immediate medical attention. If we’re unable to contact you, or in case of dire emergency, Poochkins has the right to administer aid and/or to use any available veterinarian. You also agree to pay all expenses incurred for medical treatment, transport, time, and any other related expenses. We may call you from the veterinarian facility to arrange payment before treatment is commenced.
Toys & Bedding
We allow bedding if it can be laundered and has your name permanently marked on it. Please ensure all bedding is clean and flea-free. We allow toys without squeakers. Any toy that may be a choking or health hazard or cause injury is not allowed. Poochkins reserves the right to deny toys and bedding supplied by you.
Personal Property
You acknowledge that Poochkins will not be held responsible or liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property belonging either to you or to your dog. If your dog causes any damage to the Poochkins facility or equipment, you understand that you may be held responsible for the cost of repair or replacement.
Behavior
  • Dog Compatibility: We accept all breeds of dogs, except the ones banned by law. We also accept dogs that do not get along with other dogs or may be aggressive toward other dogs (please be clear on the On-Boarding form). These dogs will get the same love and attention as all other dogs and will have the same amount of playtime in the park as all other dogs.
  • Aggressive Dogs: We DO NOT accept dogs who are aggressive towards people. If we feel that your pet poses a threat to our staff, then we reserve the right to refuse to board your dog. Should your pet become aggressive towards the staff during their stay, your emergency contact may be required to give your pet emergency accommodation. Please note that in case we must transfer your pet on to you or to your emergency contact, the full price for the duration booked will still apply and no refund will be given.
  • Responsibility and Liability: You further understand that you take full responsibility and liability in any and every way for any damage to personal property, injury, or death caused to other dog(s) or staff or person(s) by your dog.
  • Abuse: Poochkins has zero tolerance of any abuse (verbal or physical). You will be asked to leave with immediate effect and legal action could be taken against you.
Age and “In Heat” Females
  • Minimum Age: Puppies must be at least 12 weeks old to board with us and must have all their puppy inoculations.
  • In Heat: We DO NOT accept “in heat” females for boarding.
Flea / Tick Control
Dogs must be on some type of flea and tick control. If we find ticks on your pet, we will where possible remove them safely with tick removers. If we feel this cannot be achieved, we will contact you or your emergency contact to discuss further treatment options with the assistance of a veterinarian.
Vaccines
  • Minimum Requirements: At a minimum, pet dogs must have been administered the following vaccinations for their safety from a licensed veterinarian practice: 9-in-1 (includes safety against parvovirus, distemper, hepatitis, and leptospirosis); Anti-rabies; Corona; Kennel cough.
  • Additional Medical Certificates: Poochkins reserves the right to request additional medical certificates or reports, or to speak to your dog’s vet if deemed necessary.
  • Right to Deny: Poochkins has the right to deny or discontinue boarding or deny entry to the premises in absence of valid vaccination certificates and take legal and compensatory action against you at your cost. No refunds are applicable in this case.
Abandonment
Abandonment of pets is punishable by law. I understand that if I do not pick up my dog at all, Poochkins will have the right to proceed with the guidelines stipulated by law and take legal action against me. I also acknowledge that I will be fully responsible for all attorneys’ fees and associated costs if I abandon my dog.
Photos and Videos
I give my permission for Poochkins to take photographs, and/or videos, and to use the images or videos of my dog in printed matter, internet sites, or other promotional or advertising capacities. Photographs and videos are the property of Poochkins.
Changes
Poochkins reserves the right to change policies, procedures, and services, and adjust rates without notice. While we will attempt to notify you of these changes, it is ultimately your responsibility to be aware of current policies and rates.
Right to Refuse Service
Poochkins reserves the right to refuse or suspend any or all services to anyone for any reason.
We strive to be the best we can be for you and your dog. Please do tell us if you are ever dissatisfied with any of our services. We need your feedback to improve ourselves so that you and your loved one are getting the service you deserve.
